My goal is to get one of those cheapo BBQ grills for a tenner with some coal so that I can fry up some burgers in the sunshine! I just need to get my ass of my comfy seat. I probably need to get some BBQ utensils as well gonna cost me and considering Im a bum just now Im not really into spending that much money. We will have to see if whether I bother or not…

Koka Noodles

Besides my forays into the world of captured noodles (potted lol) I have been indulging in my love of tea recently. I decided to buy myself a bamboo tea tray for my glass Gong Fu tea set. I got it from www.jingtea.com and might I just say that their service is top notch! Whenever I order from them I get my packages next day (I live in the UK) and the site has a few videos up showing the different types of tea wares they sell and how to use them. The owner is quite famous I think since he has been mentioned in newspapers such as the Financial Times.

Anyway I digress. I tested out my new tray and yes it holds the waste water from my tea making without spilling! It looks pretty epic in the glass cupboard with my glass gong fu tea set perched on it (also from Jing tea). Today I am a happy tea enthusiast.

Also I decided to get some more Blackcurrant and Hibiscus tea at the same time as getting my tea tray since I just love it soooo much!

No they most certainly are not! Ive completed my education but the grass is still there (its not like it decided to retire and move to Spain..though I wish it did!) and guess who still has to cut it? ME! It isnt all bad news though. It started to rain just after I had cut the grass which I welcomed since It was hot today and some cool rain was much needed to cool oneself after partaking in the strenous excercise of decreasing the average length of the green crap sprouting out around your house.

When I got there I was pleasantly surprised. The place was brightly lit and the guys working there were really nice. We (me my friend and my brother) decided to have a look at the snacks they had on offer and found that they sold POT NOODLES and KOKA NOODLES! I was amused but my friend was excited at the prospect of having noodles while gaming.

After the noodle ogling we decided to have our accounts created and pay for a couple of hours game play. Being our first visit we automatically got an hours free gaming. We decided to pay for an extra hour since we intended to play for around 2 hours. By the time we had sat down one of the workers brought over my friends noodles ready to eat, he was ready for anything in counter strike now!

We enjoyed ourselves at Esc gaming but one thing I didn’t like was that we had quite a bit of lag while playing Counter Strike Source but that could have been due to many reasons. The other niggling point was that the keyboards were fairly bog standard and the mouse and headsets were OK too but they pale in comparison to those provided in Microplay. These were the only downsides to Esc gaming and we only played one game remember, you can also argue that fancier gaming peripherals don’t make that much of a difference (Esc gaming did have Razer Krait gaming mice). One BIG upside to going to Esc gaming is that they are currently charging £1 an hour! compared to Microplay’s £2 an hour which is a plus! Double the gaming for the same price. Also the staff at Esc gaming I felt were a lot more friendly making you feel more comfortable. I think Ill be giving Esc gaming another visit in the near future! (I still have 1 hour left on my account!!!) You can visit their site at www.esc-games.com .

I’ve noticed that the weather has continued to suck balls for the last few days. It’s as if it is teasing us with a few sunny days so as to lower our guard and then BAM another few days of dark clouds and dreary rain. I bought an bright yellow light hoody for goodness sake…now I look like a complete idiot prancing around in bright summer clothing in amongst the torrential downpour that is the sorry excuse for weather round these parts….

I suppose there is some respite. I have 3 cans of coke left over from my “gaming session” on counter strike during the weekend. Now that I think about it, it wasn’t really a gaming session than a complete waste of my time as I get pummelled by bratty 12 year olds with super computers that their rich parents bought them so that they could plague fps players online with their insane mindless chatter while their parents get a break. I hate their pre-pubescent voices. It as if their voices are designed to be grating to the ears through online team speak. Sometimes they think it appropriate to share their lovely taste in music with the rest of their team through their microphones. I wish there was an option in counter strike to destroy the computer of anyone who is either A. AN ASS, B. A snotty spoilt brat or C. Hackers I guess but they aren’t nearly as annoying as choices A and B. It doesn’t help that I have a Wi-Fi connection to my internet and these gits seem to have fibre optic connections jacked DIRECTLY INTO THEIR BRAINS FOR MINIMUM RESPONSE TIME! . I really need to get a wired network setup and also updating my tired old computer would help. I’ll work on the mod to destroy idiotic players PC’s later .

As a side note I decided to get a illuminous yellow hoody today. My first hoody in years! Apparantly when I put the hood up I look a little like the protagonist of Assassins creed (in banana yellow!). Yay for me!!

Over the years the place has moved up the road so to speak. It now has a larger premises and the computers have been updated from a few years ago (to keep up with demanding games). I forgot how comfy the seats were! Sitting there with my headset on and my hand on a Razer gaming mouse I felt a bit geeky…but it was a good geeky feeling! I loaded Counter Strike Source and was away (they still had my login details file…I was impressed). The feeling experienced when you make that headshot with minimum to no lag…..absolute PWNAGE! At home my computer is connected to the net using Wifi and I experience lag from my ISP aswell on CSS but in Microplay it was a different story. I was at the top of my teams table the whole time for the hour I played which was good for me. Im defo thinking of going back their especially since it now costs £2 AN HOUR!!!! it used to be £3.50 a few years back. For anyone wanting to play all day their doing a day deal for £15.

Offcourse one thing that I hate about these events is when the food turns out cold due to uncontrollable delays on the day, now Im not blaming the people involved but it does suck when you have to have COLD SAMOSAS! Argh! I counter this by having loads of coke or Irn Bru which usually makes me all hyper for a while . After a while though the sugar ruch ends and I feel pretty tired. One thing that gets me, why is it that at weddings etc they hardly ever serve tea afterwards!?!?! Tea would be the perfect end to a 3 course meal but for some reason this trend seems to have died at some point, atleast at the events I have attended.

BRING BACK TEA!!!!!!!!!!
